The third annual Phoenix picnic was held on August 17 at Lake Johanna Pavilion in Arden Hills. We had another great showing and everyone present had a good time. A lot of family and friends came to visit with their loved ones and enjoy the beautiful weather we had. Thankfully this year we did not have to contend with the bees! We look for ward to hosting this event in the years to come as it has become something everyone looks forward to.

Once again, we voted and named an Employee of the Year and Resident of the Year. Congratulations to all nominees and to this year's winners.

A special thanks goes out to the members of the Recreation Committee for helping out at this event. Laura H.; Shawna Z.; Racheal A; Jody D. and niece, Sara; Katie A. and friend, Joe; Liz L.; Bethany J.; Pam A.; Jessica B.; and everyone else who made this annual event another success. A special thank you to all the support staff who worked hard at getting everyone to the event so they could spend time with family and friends. We could not do this without you all!
