Join The Phoenix Residence and other advocates from 10:00-11:00am on Tuesday, February 10th with ARRM and Minnesota Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (MN-CCD) for “Tuesday at the Capitol”.
Advocates will meet in the Department of Transportation Cafeteria where MN-CCD will provide information about the need for a 5% rate increase for Home and Community-Based Services in 2015, address their policy priorities, and help attendees prepare their personal stories to share with elected officials. We encourage 5% supporters to meet with their legislators the same day and schedule appointments with them in advance.
Several of our legislative champions have been invited to speak, including Senators Kent Eken and John Hoffman, as well as Representatives Rod Hamilton, Tara Mack, Nick Zerwas, and Joe McDonald.
