As we move into 2014, we need to continue our momentum by ensuring that even more members of the legislature understand the critical importance of The 5% Campaign. We hope that every elected official makes it their New Year’s resolution to fund a five percent rate increase for Home and Community Based Services.
Between now and January 1st, please take a few minutes to send your elected officials a personalized Happy New Year card. Click here to download the printable card. Share this card with self-advocates, family members, friends, and staff members. To view a list of current legislative supporters, click here (scroll to the bottom of the page).
After printing the card, simply remove the “Instructions” portion and send it to your legislator. Make sure you include a short message about how a rate increase would impact you and those we serve. To locate your legislator's mailing address, click here.
