Phoenix Hosts Town Hall Forum

The Phoenix Residence recently hosted a town hall forum at the Roseville Library for candidates from districts 42 and 42B. The forum not only had a great turnout, but included an informative discussion which allowed us to hear the candidates’ views on very important issues. In attendance were April King and Bev Scalze both running for State Senate for district 42 and Ken Rubenzer and Jason Isaacson both running for State House for district 42B.

The Phoenix Residence was fortunate to be able to have all homes within these districts in attendance. This included residents, staff, family members, and friends from 6 of our homes. Other community members from these districts also attended, after a lengthy question and answer forum, the candidates mingled with the guests, personally introducing themselves and answering questions on a 1 to 1 basis. All in attendance seemed to enjoy the event and learned a great amount about the candidates.
