Lace up your shoes, tune up your bike, wheelchair, or stroller and join The Phoenix Residence on September 17, 2016 at Lake Calhoun for Made in the Shade!! Registration begins at 9:30 with the walk at 10:30.
Made in the Shade is a non-competitive walk, run, roll and is truly a fun, family event – contact your friends and family members and create a team to walk in support of The Phoenix Residence and your loved one.
Each house is asked to set a goal on what they are raising funds for. Here are what some of the houses are fundraising for – please help them reach their goals!
- Centerville House – Newtrax Transportation Services to Attend Community Events and Activities
- Clinton House – New Living Room Furniture
- Douglas House - Trip to Duluth and Overnight Casino Trip
- Eric’s House – Trip to Duluth
- English House - Music Therapy
- Foss House –New Recliners, New Dining Room Chairs, and Umbrella for Patio
- Howard House – New TV and DVD Player
- Janet Court – Music Therapy and a New Entertainment Stand
- Ludden House – New Living Room Furniture and Grill
- Lydia House – Wii Console
- Newport House – New Couch
- Suburban – New Grill and TV
- Viking House – Accessible Swing for Backyard
Registration begins at 9:30 am with a post-walk celebration featuring lunch and entertainment. T-shirts are given to participants who raise $25 or more in pledges. Please return with your pledges to the Phoenix Residence, Attn: Rachel Koenigs 330 Marie Ave East, West St. Paul, MN 55118.
