Disability Services Day at the Capitol 2025

Rally for change at our annual day of advocacy!

Let’s make our voices heard this March! Join us for Disability Services Day at the Capitol on March 18, 2025, to advocate for disability services! This annual day of advocacy brings together more than 1,000 direct care staff,  managers, family members, and individuals from across the state. It’s so important for us to share with them what it’s like working in the disability field or having a family member with a disability. This is how we will promote change at the state level!

Date: March 18, 2025
Time: Rally at 10 am
Meetings with Legislators throughout the day*

Location: Minnesota State Capitol Rotunda
75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
St. Paul, MN 55155

The rally will begin at 10 am and meetings with our legislators will last throughout the day. Please let us know if you are interested in meeting with your legislator or attending the rallyWe will inform you of your meeting time a week before the event.

*Please be advised, the State Office Building and the tunnel connecting the building to the Capitol complex are closed for construction. Meetings with legislators will take place at the Minnesota Senate Building and Centennial Building this year.

This year is vital important to voice our concerns! The Governor has already proposed cuts to the disability community and cuts are being proposed to Medicaid at the federal level as well. It's so important to share this with our legislators!

You don't need to be an expert on the bills ARRM is advocating for in 2025. Simply download ARRM's Legislative Agenda below and let your legislator know that your trade association is advocating for legislation that supports long-term sustainability for the disability community. The most important part is for you to share your story. Tell them what it’s like for you as a self-advocate, direct care staff, or family member of a loved one with disabilities.

Thank you for your advocacy! We hope to see you there!
