Phoenix Leadership Team Attends ARRM's Leadership Conference
The Association of Residential Resources in Minnesota (ARRM) held its annual leadership conference September 26-28, 2012 at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge in Deerwood, Minnesota. The leadership team from Phoenix was in attendance.
The Association of Residential Resources in Minnesota (ARRM) held its annual leadership conference September 26-28, 2012 at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge in Deerwood, Minnesota. The theme of the conference was “Designing your own Destiny.”
The disability service industry in Minnesota and across the country is in a state of flux as governmental resources dwindle. Changing demographics and the rising cost of medical care make Medicaid expenditures unsustainable. ARRM and its members want to take the lead in designing systems to help rebalance services, remove barriers and redefine policy. ARRM’s Mission to advance community based services which supports individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of meaningful lives is what drives all of its members in their efforts to enhance services for all individuals with disabilities and people who support them in the great state of Minnesota.
