Volunteer Spotlight - Shari-Lynn Schmidt

The Phoenix Residence would like to recognize Shari-Lynn Schmidt as the Volunteer Spotlight for the month of December. Shari-Lynn, a human services student at Inver Hills Community College (IHCC), has been volunteering at the Chaparral House since September 2014.  Through her current program at IHCC, she is required to volunteer 20 hours. 

Shari-Lynn makes weekly visits on Friday afternoons and participates in various activities with the guys such as baking and arts and crafts.  Most recently, she attended the Phoenix Halloween Party with the crew. She has a very compassionate demeanor and everyone looks forward to her visits.

Sheri Lynn has discovered a passion for serving others and has surpassed her commitment of hours. We are happy to announce Shari-Lynn has joined our team as a reserve staff. We are very excited to welcome her to team Chaparral!
