Phoenix Recognizes February Employee of the Month

Shemeeka Washington, from the Viking House,  is February’s Employee of the Month!  Shemeeka is known for her upbeat attitude and her can-do spirit.  She is helpful when planning parties: sending invitations, planning the menu, and getting the house “company ready”.  She certainly does her best to ensure the house is looking its best and inviting.  She is our go-to-person!

Shemeeka is welcoming to new staff coming on board at Viking.  When staff is still in training, she goes above and beyond to ease them into the new environment and provides them the necessary information. She is a helpful trainer and gives the new employees the assistance and training they need.

She is also interested in learning new things; from planting gardens to legislative advocacy.  Shemeeka also arranges for the residents to get haircuts at a discounted rate – making a conscience effort to make sure this is handled in a timely manner. She involves many friends and family members in PRI fundraising events.

Most of all, Shemeeka is very helpful and considerate of the residents and her co-workers.  She always goes above and beyond to make sure each shift runs smoothly.  Congratulations Shemeeka!
