One Manager & One Employee Stand Out This Month
Our Program Manager from Ludden House and a DSP from Janet Court took home the awards this month.
Manager of the Month
Lisa Plaster - Ludden House
"I would like to nominate Lisa Plaster for Manager of the Month. Lisa has been an active participant in a monthly leadership series with Tim Nolan. Lisa is a regular attendee and is always actively involved in the group discussions. It makes me proud to have somebody like Lisa engaging with the group and representing Phoenix well. Lisa is responsive and really wants to do right by our policies and our training. At Ludden, she deals with the same challenges a lot of managers do, but doesn’t let that get in the way of trying to stay positive, getting things done, and giving her staff support and coaching.
Lisa is involved with the lives of the people at Ludden. She is always finding ways for them to grow and learn new things. When Lisa is at the house, the individuals are happy. They reach out to Lisa and always ask her questions and express concerns. Lisa has grown in her position and continues to look for ways to be better and continue to learn and develop in her position and as a person."
Employee of the Month
Ruth Okai - Janet Court
"I am pleased to nominate Ms. Ruth Okai for the Employee of the Month award. Ms. Ruth has consistently gone above and beyond her regular duties to contribute significantly to our team's success.
One of her standout contributions is her proactive approach to staffing challenges. On numerous occasions, she has gone out of her way to ensure that we had adequate
staffing coverage on days when we were short-staffed. Her dedication and willingness to step in when needed have been invaluable in maintaining smooth operations. Additionally, Ms. Ruth exemplifies commitment by willingly picking up extra overnight shifts. Her willingness to take on additional responsibilities demonstrates her strong work ethic and dedication to ensuring that our house has sufficient coverage at all times.
Moreover, Ms. Ruth has been an integral part of our team, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork. Her contributions have had a positive impact on morale and have helped foster a collaborative work environment.
