Manager Appreciation Week Comes to a Close
We’ll finish out this week with a tribute to our dedicated managers from the Southeast Group.
This week we gave thanks to all our managers here at The Phoenix Residence! We are so grateful for each and every one of you!! Thank you for being a part of the Phoenix family! Last but not least, we'd like to recognize the incredible efforts of our Southeast managers from our Carver, Douglas, and Newport homes.
To finish off the week, our Assistant Program Director from the Southeast Group, Shielika Thompson, wrote a closing letter to all our managers—reflecting on her experiences with the managers she works with.
"This Manager Appreciation Week, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and share my journey as the Assistant Program Director at Phoenix Residence.
Working at Phoenix Residence has been an incredibly enriching experience, largely due to the outstanding leadership provided by our management team. From day one, the managers have been a source of unwavering support and inspiration. Their expertise and approachable nature have made it easy to communicate, collaborate, and grow within my role.
One of the most remarkable aspects of our managers is their dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. Their encouragement and provision of opportunities for skill development have been instrumental in my career advancement. This commitment to development not only benefits staff, but also ensures that we provide the highest quality of care to our residents.
Our managers’ genuine care for residents and staff alike is truly commendable. They lead with empathy, patience, and an unwavering dedication to making Phoenix Residence a place where everyone feels valued and supported. Their leadership has created an environment where collaboration thrives and innovative ideas are welcomed.
In my role as Assistant Program Director, I have been fortunate to witness firsthand the positive impact of our managers’ efforts. Their guidance and support have made my job not only manageable but also deeply fulfilling. It is their exceptional leadership that enables us to provide the best possible care and create a home-like atmosphere for our residents.
Thank you to all the incredible managers at Phoenix Residence for your hard work, dedication, and inspiration. You truly make a difference every day, and I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful team.
