All About Us!
Furness House is a great house and home to six wonderful ladies ! We are located off McKnight Road and close to Larpenteur in Maplewood. We have a big yard with a fenced-in patio where we grow different kinds of vegetables in the summer. We also have a grill and love to BBQ during the warm months.
There are several day programs within 15 minutes of Furness. We love to travel together and go camping and visit Wisconsin Dells and Duluth .
Our staff is wonderful! They are hardworking and we treat each other like family. Most of the staff have many years of service and are advocates for those living at Furness House.

We have many likes and interests at Furness House! Our ladies love to listen to all kinds of music. We look forward to our bowling night and attend many dances and parties.
We enjoy going out to eat and shopping, with Maplewood Mall only five minutes away.
We also look forward to when our friends and family stop in for a visit.
What Helps Me Feel Safe and Happy
During the weekday, we are up between 6am-8am to get ready for work. We enjoy breakfast together before heading out to work. On the weekends, we like to sleep in and get up when we choose. Weekends are laid back with frequent visits to the community to have fun!
