All About Us!
The Viking House is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Little Canada. We are close to Hwy 35E and just off of Hwy 36. Our backyard is wooded and it is likely to see a deer in the yard. In the summer, we enjoy outside activities including cookouts and picnics. Viking House also has a garden and later in the Summer ,we like to pick our own tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs.
Some of us are members of a bowling league and we also have Bible study at our house on Tuesday evenings. Lake Gervais is just a few blocks away where we have picnics and go fishing. We are very close to Como Park, Phalen Lake, and many of the shopping centers which is perfect for a community outing.
We all attend Day training and Vocational programs within a 10 mile radius of the Viking House
Facts about Folks at Viking
The individuals at Viking House are on the go! We like to plan parties and invite friends and family. You will often find karaoke at our parties.
We also have many Wii tournaments and play lots of music.
What Helps Me Feel Safe and Happy
On a typical week day, we take the bus to our day programs.
On the weekends, we look forward to having brunch. Of course some of us enjoy sleeping in a little.
We like to spend the weekend in the community bowling, shopping, or the movies.

People say we are a busy and very fun house. We have lots of music, fun, and laughter. Our squirt gun battles and Wii tournaments are the best!
If it’s a holiday, you can guarantee we will plan a party!
